Alien Troublemaker Gotcha
A sci-fi, “slice-of-life meets monster-of-the-week” OC project with two storylines and a “2000’s Saturday morning anime” vibe (think 4Kids but hopefully better)
About
The main plot/storyline is about Gotcha, an alien exiled from his home planet, adjusting to life on Earth. The secondary plot/storyline is about Cadet, another alien who comes to Earth for a “research project” and has to protect it from whatever comes to threaten it. These stories are told largely through comics and art pieces.
It's inspired by various things such as magical girl anime, various 90’s and 2000’s games (notably SEGA games like Sonic and Jet Set Radio), and various styles and aesthetics that were popular in the 90’s and the 2000’s.
Characters
World
The world of ATG is a sci-fi world set in modern times. Many planets full of alien life exist, but only a few are important to the overall story.
Locations
- Cyfaire: Home of the Faelians and Gotcha's home planet. It was once a peaceful and lively planet, but is now dark and borderline dystopian
- Parabase:Home of the Angelites and Cadet's home planet. It's almost entirely made up of pieces from other planets
- Earth: Pretty self-explanatory.
- Sunshine City: The city this project takes place in.It’s located somewhere in the USA, and is a popular tourist spot in the summer
